Honda Thrust Clearance Tool

This tool is for checking the thrust clearance of the main shaft in Honda transmissions. When building a new transmission to double check if the shims used are correct Honda has specifications of what they want in terms of thrust bearing clearances. This tool clamps to the main shaft and then you apply a specific load to the main shaft and measure the movement.

At the time this tool was not available as they were back ordered for some time. The sleeves were available, but not the tool to apply pressure on the side of the bearing that holds the main shaft in the Honda transmission.
